Original color wood engraving by Salvador Dalí from the Divine Comedy (Dante Alighieri) series, created between 1960 and 1964. This work is the result of a monumental project in collaboration with the Parisian publishing house Les Heures Claires. Each illustration was meticulously hand-engraved by master engraver Raymond Jacquet, using an average of 35 separate woodblocks per print to achieve its rich coloration. It remains one of the most significant graphic achievements of the 20th century, merging Dalí’s surrealist vision with the medieval literary classic
